Alison grew up in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. As a child she performed in various shows as well as dancing as part of the English Youth Ballet. At age 16, Alison successfully auditioned for many Dance Colleges in the UK and decided to continue her training at Performers College.
Alison graduated from Performers College in 2016, having studied Dance and Musical Theatre. Alongside her professional training she gained her DDE teaching qualification in Ballet and her DDI in Tap and Modern. Before beginning to take the first steps into teaching, Alison spent 4 years performing professionally around the world whilst experiencing a wealth of different cultures.
As teaching was always a passion, Alison decided to retire from performing and pursue her teaching career. Alison has been Head of Ballet at a well established dance school in Hertfordshire for multiple years, currently teaching over 180 students and has a 100% pass rate for ISTD exams. Alison also teaches a variety of other styles including Modern, Jazz, Lyrical and Stretch & Strength.
Alison is thrilled to embark on this journey of bringing her own school to life.
Alison is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and helping her students achieve their full potential. She brings with her a positive mentality, enabling her to work with students to optimise individual abilities and, to find positive ways to learn and achieve.
